This organization shall be known as Concord Local #1045, International Association of Firefighters of the American Federation of Labor, A.F.L.C.I.O.

Purpose; to promote better morale, social, and economic standing of its members in any or all means consistent with good order and discipline in our department.

The International Association of Fire Fighters represents more than 325,000 full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics in more than 3,500 affiliates. IAFF members protect more than 85 percent of the population in communities throughout the United States and Canada. They are the driving force behind nearly every advance in the fire and emergency services in the 21st century.
Concord Professional Firefighters became a chartered affiliate to the IAFF on January 20, 1950. Today we comprise of 68 members who serve in the following divisions;
Fire Suppression: 60 Firefighter/EMT/AEMT/Paramedics
Fire Alarm: 4 Lead Dispatchers and 4 Dispatchers
Our members are of the highest quality and are credentialed in various areas to include, fire/rescue operations - ice water rescue, swiftwater rescue, rope rescue (low & high angle), trench rescue, HAZMAT (many members are apart of the Central NH HAZMAT Team), and Advanced Life Support procedures, including Rapid Sequence Intubation, which only few communities are authorized to perform.
Off-duty our members are very active in the community, supporting many local and national non-profit organizations. To name a few; Concord Boys & Girls Club, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Friends of Forgotten Children, Concord Firefighter’s Relief Association, Concord Food Pantry, as well as participating in many community events like Market Days, Midnight Merriment, and National Night Out.
